Halloween Shrink Paper Bats

OK here is my first post.

This is more difficult than I thought it would be. I am just going to do it and see what happens. These are bats made out of shrink paper. You can buy at Michael's, Jo Ann's or Hobby Lobby.

Trace the shape you want onto the shrink paper. (I just found a bat in a book and traced it.) I used a permanent black sharpie and filled it in. I waited for it to dry, then cut it out. Be sure to use sharp scissors. (I have a very small pair of sharp scissors) Follow the directions on the shrink wrap and bake in oven. The size will shrink way down.

I let them cool down and glued the eyes on.

I found this product from Aleene's called TACK-IT Over & Over. I glued a piece of felt on the back. Let that dry. Then you put the tack it over on the other side. After it dries you can put it almost anywhere and it will stay. You can then take it off and put it on something else. When you store it, you need to keep it on a piece of wax paper till the next time you want to use.

I thought it was cute! You can use as a pin.

I also used the tack it over on a fabric banner and put it on my front porch and it stuck to the brick! I love this product!

My First Post a Failure!

My first post

This is way harder than I thought. I had everything set up with pictures and somehow I lost everything I typed and my pictures.

I will try again tomorrow. I have to stop and cook dinner.
